Man Held On Charges Of Burglary, Assaulting A Law Enforcement Officer & Resisting Arrest

Edgar Coleman has been charged in connection with an Olivette home invasion case.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's office Friday issued formal charges against a man who Olivette Police said was discovered in a Dielman Road home last weekend.

Edgar Everett Coleman is now being held on $100,000 cash only bond on a first degree burglary charge in Olivette, and three charges, including assaulting a law enforcement officer in Overland.

Police tracked Coleman to Overland Thursday after he allegedly fled the scene in Olivette Sunday. He was taken into custody after a footchase Thursday morning.

Police had said Thursday Coleman was also wanted  for unspecified issues in Crawford County.
