This will be the focus of the Olivette administration & Economic Development Commission.
Ladue developers Jay Williamson and Joe Bannister have put a $10 million dollar sports complex concept before the City of Olivette. Often three or more maintenance vehicles will be spaced out over some distance to complete maintenance work. In St. Louis County, blasting operations on southbound I-270 near Big Bend is scheduled weekdays at 1 p.m., and will continue weekly, weather permitting. Both directions of Interstate 270 will have a rolling closure and potential stopped traffic for approximately…

Williamson, and business partner Joe Bannister of Webster Groves have designs on bringing indoor ice hockey; outdoor lacrosse, soccer and field hockey to Olivette. The duo eye the 25-acre piece of unused ground at Warson Park in Olivette. What will happen to the baseball league that plays on the fields now? How will this benefit Olivette? Taxes? Sale of land? Can that land be sold? What will happen to the Community Center? Will Olivette not bring their existing plan (the past bond issue) back to the table...didn't it fail only by a few points? Will Olivette have any input in the design?   more ›
