Arena Liquor had hoped to open in Olivette the week of Thanksgiving but permitting issues have postponed the liquor store from welcoming customers, an employee of Arena Liquor told Patch.
The employee of the Hampton Avenue Arena Liquor said that the business hopes to open this week. Patch previously reported that the store was planning to open by the end of November.

The new store in the Olivette Center shopping plaza is next to Party City and the former location of Ray's Donuts, at 9612 Olive Boulevard.
The local chain's locations include Hampton Avenue in St. Louis, Hazelwood, Belleville and Columbia, MO.
