Time is running out if you think your chili has what it takes to stand up to a taste test coming up later this month at .
The Chili Cook-Off is back for a second year and the deadline to register is September 14.
Saleeby & Associates won the $1,000 prize in 2011 for the wealth management firm's white chicken chili recipe.
Here are some of the rules:
- Up to four members per team. There is a registration fee of $120 per team.
- Contestents must provide at least four gallons of chili. The chili must be cooked on-site.
- Best Chili will be judged on the following criteria: flavor, texture/constistnecy, aroma, and appearance.
For more information, fill out the registration form for the contest, which can be found on the Chamber of Commerce's website. It's due by 5 p.m. September 14.
