Olivette Insurance Agent Garland Bissell Dies
Bissell served the Olivette community for over 40 years.
Garland W. Bissell, a State Farm Insurance agent who served the Olivette community for 43 years, has died.
Bissell died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012.
His office was at 9637 Olive Road, according to his web site.

Collier's Funeral Home is arranging the funeral services. It's obituary reads as follows:
Bissell was the beloved husband of Cheri S. Bissell (nee Schmidt); dearest father of Ben (Karen), Chris (Becky), Brad (Danielle), Matt and Ryan Bissell; dear grandfather of Josh, Gavin, Hayden, Kaya, Brady, Christian and Drew; brother of Hugh (Diana) Bissell; son-in-law of Don Schmidt; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation is today from 3-8 pm.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Collier's Funeral Home 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
