“I’ve enjoyed practicing in a two-lawyer setting, but there have been many times, especially in the middle of a big lawsuit, when, to quote Roy Scheider in Jaws, I’ve felt

like I needed a bigger boat,” states Kahn.  “I’m delighted to join this outstanding group of attorneys, many of whom I’ve had a personal or professional relationship for decades.”

“As someone in the boat, I can say this is quite a catch for us. Mike is an enormous talent,” adds Sarachan.

In addition to his trial practice, Kahn is the award-winning author of several novels and short stories. He is also an adjunct professor of law at Washington University, where he teaches a course on censorship and the First Amendment.

Kahn has handled many high-profile cases in the fields of entertainment, media, and intellectual property including, most recently, the copyright lawsuit by the tattoo artist who created Mike Tyson’s facial tattoo over the use of that creation by Warner Bros. in the movie “Hangover II.” His litigation clients have included the National Basketball Association, Oprah Winfrey, Lions Gate Entertainment, the New York Yankees and The North Face.
