Chamber Will Honor Olivette's Police Officer and Firefighter Of The Year

The Creve Coeur-Olivette Chamber of Commerce's annual gala auction will be held Friday night.

The city of Olivette's decision to pull out of the Creve Coeur-Olivette Chamber of Commerce won't stop the organization from honoring emergency first responders Friday night.

The chamber's annual dinner auction and gala will recognize Police and Firefighters of the year from the respective cities.

  • Captain Todd Walters from the Olivette Fire Department, who saw a car spin out and rollover near Interstate 64 and Lindbergh in November while off duty. Walters stayed at the scene, even wiggling inside the vehicle to help calm the driver and retrieve personal belongings.
  • Sergeant William Miller from the Olivette Police Department was recognized for his work in the department's school resource and traffic units.
