NEWS NEARBY: Former KFNS Radio Personality Guilty of Peace Disturbance

St. Louis area radio personality Kevin Slaten pleaded guilty to peace disturbance, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, former Webster Groves radio personality Kevin Slaten pleaded guilty to peace disturbance and was fined $1,000 Wednesday

The article states that the plea is in connection to a Nov. 12 incident when Slaten was told by KFNS AM-590 sports radio officials that his show would no longer be aired. A complaint alleged that Slaten made verbal threats, used profane language and indicated a manager was spit on.

Slaten was initially charged with misdemeanor assault in connection to the incident, the Post reports.

According to the article, Slaten was also charged with assault in 1993 and served two years’ probation.
