Both Frontenac and Town and Country police departments sent out alerts this week, warning residents of home burglaries where they believe men are pulling into cul de sacs and targeting homes in the back of courts.

As reported on Ladue-Frontenac Patch, Frontenac police sent out a text alert to residents Tuesday, but say they have not yet had any such burglaries. Detectives tell Patch they just want residents to be aware because they believe this has happened at least once in nearby Ladue.

Town and Country police also sent out an alert by email Tuesday warning residents that they've received reports of two similar burglaries within five days of each other in their city.

Police urge residents to call 911 if they observe any suspicious people, vehicles or activity in their neighborhoods.
