A student was robbed at gunpoint in a Washington University parking lot on Tuesday morning.
The university sent a notification about the incident to the campus community just before 1 p.m.
A laptop and cell phone were taken at 8:20 a.m. in the robbery, which happened at 276 Skinker, the email noted.
The suspect then fled in a blue Pontiac Aztek.
The victim was not injured, and St. Louis police are investigating the incident, the email notes.
