Police Tight-Lipped About Late October Home Break-In

Olivette authorities report that two men broke into a home and held an object at a resident's head, demanding money.

According to the most updated Olivette Police crime summaries available on the city's website, authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding an October 25 break-in on Pioneer Drive.

The report says two males broke into a home and held "an unknown object" to the resident's head, demanding money. The suspects left the scene and no one was hurt.

When Patch inquired about the case this week, including if the suspects knew their victim, how they made entry to the home, if money had been stolen or if any new information had come to light, Chief Richard Knox said in an email, "This is an ongoing investigation and we are not releasing any further information at this time. If we develop or charge any suspects for this crime we will notify you."
