Reports: Smoke Land in Olivette Hit by Burglars Overnight

TV reports say someone broke out the front window of the smoke shop sometime after midnight today.

Olivette police are investigating an overnight burglary at Smoke Land, 9495 Olive Blvd., in which someone smashed a front window out of the business and made off with an unknown inventory of loot, according to television reports.

KSDK Ch. 5 reported that police have not mentioned what was taken in the burglary and are searching for suspects. The report said the break-in occurred sometime after midnight today. Smoke Land's owner Tina Stith told Patch it happened at 12:38 a.m. Tuesday but referred further questions about the incident to Olivette Police.

KMOV Ch. 4 reported that a suspect threw an unknown object through the front glass window.

The shop, opened since 1998, sells a wide variety of tobacco- and alcohol-related products, including premium cigars, domestic and imported beers and wines.

Smoke Land's owner Tina Stith referred questions about the incident to Olivette Police.
