Thieves Rip Off Drug Store, OfficeMax in Olivette;

The latest update from the Olivette Police Department's crime report.

Olivette police were called to look into two cases of larceny in the city in recent days — one at the Walgreens Pharmacy and another at OfficeMax.

The latest police update from Olivette said three men had stolen multiple pieces of merchandise from a drug store in the 9300 block of Olive Boulevard and fled the scene in a silver Pontiac Grand Prix.

The only drug store in that vicinity is the Walgreens at 9395 Olive Blvd. The theft happened on Dec. 3.

Police also said three men stole a laptop computer from OfficeMax at 1010 Collingwood on Nov. 29. The cashier was getting ready to process a transaction and the men fled with the laptop in a newer model white Chevrolet sedan with Illinois plates.

On Dec. 1, at 10405 St. Charles Rock Road, police arrested someone for failing to appear in Olivette Municipal Court.

On Nov. 30, on Grandview Drive, a family member damaged another family member's vehicle. Police are investigating.

Also on Nov. 30, at 222 S. Florissant, police arrested another person for failing to appear in Olivette Municipal Court.

On Nov. 29, at Hilltop and Collingwood Spur, someone was arrested for being a fugitive out of multiple jurisdictions.

Also on Nov. 39, at Dielman Rock Island Industrial Drive, a girl was reported missing, was entered into the law enforcement computer system as missing and was later located and returned to the family. 

On Nov. 28, at 9473 Olive Blvd., another person was arrested for failing to appear in Olivette Municipal Court.
