Can You Name All the Broadcasting Talent to Come from Ladue High and Olivette?

Features with Joel Meyer; voice of the New Orleans Hornets; broadcasters Michael Golde, Frank Ladd & Jay Randoph Jr., tomorrow.

Ladue High School has been a hotbed of broadcast talent for quite some time now. The grand daddy of them all is two-decade sportscaster Joel Meyers, who grew up in Olivette.

Meyers cut his broadcast teeth with KSHE radio, did some work for the Cardinals and bolted to Los Angeles to become the voice of the Dodgers and do college and professional work for Westwood One; ESPN and other major outlets.

Jay Randolph Jr. has been commenting on golf on radio ever since graduating the University of South Carolina on a golf scholarship.
