Olivette on The Go This Weekend - Come Out For Food and Fun!

The City of Olivette is holidng Olivette on the Go next weekend. Come out to the annual fall festival Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This year, the festival added a talent contest and car show.

The free family festival takes place this Friday, Sept. 27 - Sunday, Sept. 29 at Olivette's Stacy Park on the corner of Olive Boulevard and Old Bonhomme Road.

The City of Olivette is hosting a community-wide festival, “Olivette on the Go,” to celebrate the residents and businesses that reside in the city and beyond.

When:             4 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27

                        Noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28

                        8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29

 

Where:            Stacy Park, 9750 Old Bonhomme Road, Olivette

The festival features a wide array of live music, local food, games and carnival rides. Kim Massie, popular blues diva, will headline on the main stage Saturday evening, followed by the Grateful Dead tribute band Jake’s Leg on Sunday.

$22 registration fee for 5K run, $7 registration fee for Fun Run.

Outside food/drink and pets are not allowed.

This year, The City of Olivette announces the first-ever “Olivette’s Got Talent” contest. The contest is open to all. Selected participants will advance to compete live at the festival. Round one will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28, with the final round and award ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 29.

The festival also launches its first annual car show taking place Saturday, Sept. 28 from noon to 3 p.m. The first 75 cars will receive dash plaques. Trophies will be awarded to the winners.
