Olivette has designated 80 acres within the city to parks and recreation. It operates five area parks with playgronds, picnic tables, ball fields and other amenities for hours of fun. Its crew works diligently to keep the parks and equipment in top condition.
The city staff also operates a community center, runs an extensive recreation program for youth and adults and organizes special events such as Parties in the Park, band concerts and the annual Boo Bash for children at Halloween.
