Simmer down Ann. Women are becoming wimps. Don't they have pockets for their personal stuff. IRead More was really disappointed in the expose' on Channel 5. Lisa Ziegman didn't do herself and her credibility any favors by taking this on. Just a bunch of fluff.

Why do we have so many whiners about everything. Why do women think they have to carry the kitchenRead More sink with them to a football game. Ann Wagner, I didn't vote for you before, and petty stuff like this can add to the reasons why.

Geez what a bunch of crybabies. Personally I don't want to wait in a mile long line as they checkRead More every bag going into the stadium. How much do you need to carry in to begin with? Moreover, a lot of you need to understand Constitutional protections don't apply to private property.

What will happen to the baseball league that plays on the fields now? How will this benefitRead More Olivette? Taxes? Sale of land? Can that land be sold? What will happen to the Community Center? Will Olivette not bring their existing plan (the past bond issue) back to the table...didn't it fail only by a few points? Will Olivette have any input in the design?

Sorry to offend you, Ms. Crisman. I live about 300 yards from the Olivette City Line and did notRead More realize I had to live in Olivette to make a comment. My daughter and many of her friends grew up playing in the OAA Leagues as little kids and it was great. She now is 36, lives in Olivette with her three little kids who have all played in the OAA and enjoyed it immensely. Hopefully, with this new development they can only expand their athletic prowess and enjoy the wonderful amenities that this new plan will offer. Maybe residents who don't like the sounds of kids having fun and parents and fans cheering them on should not live near parks or athletic fields. Kind of like residents who want to move into a subdivision with a golf course bordering it and then complaining about golf balls being hit in their yard. I like to see kids and young people enjoying sports and simply not sitting behind the computer or play station games or roaming the streets at night. Nothing better than athletics for kids!!
