President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden were re-elected Tuesday night, defeating Republican challenger Mitt Romney and his vice-presidential running mate Rep. Paul Ryan. NBC News called the presidential election for Obama around 11:15 EST. The president sent a message on Twitter at 10:14 saying simply, "This happened because of you. Thank you." Mitt Romney is projected to win Missouri’s 10 electoral votes on Tuesday, defeating Democrat Barack Obama. In Missouri, 25,561 contributions have come into the two candidates -- 20,508 for Obama and 5,053 for Romney. In Olivette, 110 contributions have come in for the president and four for Romney.
