A Ladue Horton Watkins High School teen accused of disrupting a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game this summer with a laser pointer had his case in St. Louis city court continued Wednesday until Jan. 9, court officials report. Eric Bogard, of Creve Coeur, is accused of pointing a laser onto the field at Busch Stadium during a St. Louis Cardinals game Aug. 6. Cardinals manager Mike Matheny told security officials he spotted Bogard shining a laser onto the field, distracting Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday, who was hitting at the plate. Bogard’s attorney, Joel Schwartz of the Rosenblum, Schwartz, Rogers and Glass firm, represented him at a scheduled arraignment Wednesday morning.
