Another man was charged in December for the Oct. 25 robbery in U City.
A second man has been charged in a robbery in a parking lot off the Loop on Oct. 25. University City Police said that Jermaine Pate and Timothy Valley robbed a man and took his car. Pate, 23, of the 5500 block of Etzel in St. Louis, was charged Feb. 14 with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. Valley was charged with the robbery Dec. 7. University City Police said Pate approached a man in the parking lot near 605 Leland at 12:11 a.m. Oct 25 and asked for jumper cables. The man responded that he had no jumper cables, and Pate asked to borrow a cell phone, police said. Valley then came up and put a knife to the man’s neck, and Pate took out a handgun.
