A Ladue Horton Watkins High School teen accused of disrupting a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game this summer with a laser pointer had his case in St. Louis city court continued Wednesday until Jan. 9, court officials report. Eric Bogard, of Creve Coeur, is accused of pointing a laser onto the field at Busch Stadium during a St. Louis Cardinals game Aug. 6. Cardinals manager Mike Matheny told security officials he spotted Bogard shining a laser onto the field, distracting Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday, who was hitting at the plate. Bogard’s attorney, Joel Schwartz of the Rosenblum, Schwartz, Rogers and Glass firm, represented him at a scheduled arraignment Wednesday morning. TRAFFIC ALERT: St. Louis Lane, Ramp Closures For Friday's Cardinals-Giants Game

Traffic will be able to access downtown for Friday's Cardinal NCLS playoff game. Two lanes on eastbound Highway 40 will be open for tonight’s game, but the 14th Street ramp is closed.

The Missouri Department of Transportation is advising drivers of lane and ramp closures for Friday night's St. Louis Cardinals NLCS game. Two lanes of eastbound Highway 40 will be open, along with the 6th and 11th Street ramps. However, the 14th Street ramp is closed Friday and all weekend. The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the two right lanes on westbound Interstate 64 on the Poplar Street Bridge downtown, approximately one hour after the Cardinals’ National League Championship game starts. Busch Stadium Laser Pointer Case Continued Until October

A Creve Coeur teenager is accused of pointing the laser onto the field during a Cardinals game on Aug. 6.

A teenager accused of shining a laser pointer onto the field during a St. Louis Cardinals game Aug. 6 had his court date continued until Oct. 24. Eric Bogard, 17, of Creve Coeur, was scheduled to appear in St. Louis municipal court Monday on charges of peace disturbance at an athletic event and violating a city ordinance regulating possession and use of lasers. Bogard is a student at Ladue Horton Watkins High School. Nathan Swanson, an attorney with Rosenblum, Schwartz, Rogers & Glass, appeared on Bogard’s behalf and requested the continuance.
